Industrial D80 dry-shake hardener is applied in a dry form directly to the surface of fresh concrete. This treatment enhances the surface’s resistance to abrasion and dust generation. By improving abrasion resistance and reducing surface permeability, it mitigates the negative attributes of ordinary concrete such as dust production and liquid absorption.

When industrial dry-shake hardener is applied to fresh concrete, the concreting process is completed in a single stage, finishing within 8 to 12 hours after the concrete placement and surface finishing. The surface is suitable for light traffic after 24 hours and heavy traffic after 3 weeks.

In the mechanical application method, 5 kilograms per square meter is ideal, and for manual application, 4 to 5 kilograms per square meter is recommended (with a maximum of 7 kilograms per square meter). However, this can vary significantly depending on site conditions, the concrete mix, and the amount of water in the concrete
